Today we Skyped with Levice at 1:00 pm whereby we have learnt about the filling system.
Low internet was the biggest embarrassment.

SCREEN PRINTING

Dear Friends,
 We are very grateful to inform you that today on Saturday 20/9/2014, we have done screen printing  where we applied the knowledge that we were taught by Mr. Owen Nassib. That is a very grate achievement to our Rainbow Printing Company.

SOTEICT ADMINISTRATOR AT MARUNGU

The SoteICT administrator, Mr Gift Mtambo was @ Marungu School to help us draw next term's programme. It was agreed that part of the activities be Documentation and training of new officials.

Ivka Ulicna was also present.

Mentorship programme

Marungu ICT club members are set for a common meeting with Mwakitawa ICT club members today at Mwakitawa School starting 4.10 pm. The baseline of our discussion will be “How to form and run training firms.”

Schools which run training firms are free to send their representatives who could take notes and share with the rest back in their school.

BUSINESS OPERATION AND VIRTUAL COMPANIES TRAINING BY MADAM IVKA

Hi,
We as ICT club members from Marungu high school are really grateful. Madam Ivka from Slovakia and her colleague Mr. Gift have visited us.
It is day one and everything been superb. We have learnt alot about business operations including virtual companies.
Madam Ivka will be with us until Friday 13th 2014.

ONLINE BANKING

We are just about to engage other companies in online banking. Banking documents are almost ready for use. We ask willing companies to provide us with the following details so as we could open their accounts with Mshindi KCB.

1.       Name of company.

2.        List of three officials including their admission number, name, class and position they hold in their company.

3.       Name of the patron or coordinator.

NOTE: If you would wish to borrow money from us , kindly tell us how much you would wish to borrow and the repayment period so that we can calculate the monthly installment .We are here for you .

OUR SECOND VIRTUAL COMPANY

Hey friends,

We wish to inform that we have  already  had our first meeting to discuss the creation of our second virtual company .We have settled on an insurance company with the name GREENBIRD INSURANCE  VIRTUAL COMPANY.

In this name, green represents vegetation for life while bird is our symbol to fly.

More information about this company will be availed with time.

VETTING OF CV AND COVER LETTER WRITING

Hey friends,
It has been a wonderful term  to ICT members, for we had a meeting  with our patron .We were discussing and going through the final copies of C Vs  and cover letter writing  on 6/5/2014. 15 copies were presented to the elected panel of students where only 8 C Vs  and cover letters were picked .Congratulation for all those  who participated. They will be posted soon.

TYPING COMPETITION...

There was a typing competition organised by the Marungu ICT club on 13th May 2014. The members decided to use the three cover letters which were ready for typing. The winner was Emmanuel Mwaganjoni, a form three student.

We are proud to have done this as it was one of the projected activities to be done this term. Join us if you ever want to fly.

AN INDOOR MEEETING.

We have had our last meeting of this term with our patron, Mr. Herman Mwalukuku. We have discussed how to write a CV and an application letter. We would like to state that we have now understood the assignment and we will do our best in the competition. This competition should keep us together more than apart.
We congratulate whoever will win.

On behalf of Marungu secondary school, we wish to express our sincere and uncontrollable happiness to hear that one of our own qualified to be employed as the administrator for soteICT centre, Voi. We commend Jakub, David, Mirka and Ivana who did the vetting and would want to confirm that you picked the right choice. We have worked with Gift Mtambo as our ICT President and we can confess that he is a guy who works with little (if any) supervision. You will not be embarrassed.

This is a big boost not only to Marungu secondary school students but to all students who are getting involved with projects in soteICT centre. We may have no words to put it right BUT for now, “Let’s keep the fire burning.” The time to do it is now, if not now, then right away.
